At HelloFresh we pride ourselves on building the best recipes possible for our amazing community of home cooks and this role will be key to ensuring we continue to do that.

You will…

• Be part of the testing process of new recipes,


• Review, adjust and re-cook existing HelloFresh recipes


• Undertake new ingredient testing and benchmarking


• Ensure HelloFresh requirements and recipe developer expectations are reached


• Collaborate with Operations and Culinary teams to ensure adequate inventory of food items 


• Unpack and put away HelloFresh kitchen ingredients lists, and all other materials needed for the testings


• Maintain an orderly and food safe kitchen


• Conduct a weekly clean out of refrigerators and pantry


• Proactively respond to constructive criticism from the culinary team


• Undertake the administrative side of the External Testing Process

• Proactive and ambitious : you take ownership of your work and think beyond the scope of a given assignment


• Organized, make things happen, creative at solving problems and relentless until desired outcome is achieved

• Passionate about our business and changing the grocery retail landscape in the UK

Qualifications:

• You have a food or cooking qualification


• Some experience working in a test kitchen, commercial kitchen or in hospitality


• Experience in a food related field and a creative flair for cooking


• A passion for cooking and recipe development


• Exceptional written expression for the authoring and editing of concise, simple and clear recipe methods


• An eye for detail and strong comfort with Google Suite or Excel
