 HelloFresh needs you

For our young and passionate team, we are looking for a Dutch-English translator with editorial skills. As part of the product team, you will be responsible for translating, editing and checking all Dutch product based copy and be accountable to the recipe editor for Dutch proofreading as well. You will work closely together with the Dutch-French translator, the recipe editor and the product team.

You’ll be working on:

• Translating all product copy (mainly recipe cards, but also product labels and other content) from Dutch to English;


• Ensuring translated content conveys the original meaning and tone, but keeping Dutch/English conventions in mind;


• Editing, proofreading and checking product copy on both textual and visual aspects;


• Quality control and adjusting existing Dutch/English product copy.

Are you the perfect Translator Dutch – English?

You have a passion for fresh food, of course! But, next to that we have some other requirements as welll. You are a native English and Dutch speaker(or at least one native and one fluently). It would be great if you have some relevant working experience(1 to 2 years) as a translatore, inerpreter or experience in a similar role. Experience as a (content) editor is a plus. You have strong communication skills and you are comfortable with working in a fast-moving, international environment. You are excellent in proofreading content and able to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors. It is also important that you like spotting errors. You are able to work individully and also in a team. You have excellent project management skills, can balance multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize your work load and meet deadlines in time. Being a creative mind helps you in proactively sharing your opinionand encourage others to do so. Lastly, you have a bachelor degree in a relevant language-related field.
