HelloFresh needs you

For our young and passionate Product team, we are looking for a Dutch-French translator. As part of the product team, you will be responsible for translating and checking all French product based copy. You will work closely together with the Dutch-English translator, the recipe editor and the product team. 

You’ll be working on:

• Translating all product copy (mainly recipe cards, but also product labels and other content) from Dutch to French;


• Ensuring translated content conveys the original meaning and tone, but keeping French conventions in mind;


• Editing, proofreading and checking product copy on both textual and visual aspects (mainly French copy, but also Dutch copy);


• Quality control and adjusting existing French product copy.

Are you the perfect Dutch-French translator?

You are a native French speaker with 1 - 2 years and/or experience in translation work. You have either a professional translation background (NL-FR) or a degree in Translation (NL-FR). You have excellent Dutch communication skills and speak Dutch fluently – you’re also able to do some proofreading on Dutch copy. You are able to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors – you can spot typos and spelling mistakes a mile off and have supreme attention to detail. You have good project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload – you’re flexible, but used to deadlines. Furthermore, you have strong English communication skills, are a team player and, of course, have a passion for good food.
