We are seeking strong candidates with research experience, ideally in food retail, to fill a Manager position within HelloFresh’s Customer and Product department. This professional will be an integral part of the UK’s Customer team and will contribute to HelloFresh’s long-term strategy by conducting research and analysis in a timely and accurate manner and clearly packaging, articulating and delivering findings. In time, the manager will be expected to gain credibility based on the objective data they cull to help meet a variety of challenging business needs.


Working closely with the HelloFresh Customer Director, the ideal candidate will successfully manage multiple requests while providing exceptional insight to the wider business. They will thrive learning in a rich, fast-paced, deadline oriented yet thoughtful environment that is customer-focused. The Strategy Manager will be a good problem solver and will work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.


 


 


About the job...



  • Enable Customer Strategy at HelloFresh UK reporting directly into the Customer Director; manage and coach one direct report

  • Responsible for all research (internal and external); conduct research on commercial, economic and food specific industry topics using relevant commercial and public sources

  • Proactively work cross-functionally to identify knowledge gaps and solve business problems through actionable insights, supporting cross-functional customer-centric initiatives, e.g. NPS

  • Understand research objectives and proactively suggest most appropriate and efficient research approach to senior management team members

  • Deliver insights to enable improvements and growth through better understanding of both our customers and competitors

  • Support the voice of the customer within the business by building up customer knowledge, delivering regular updates to key stakeholders and ensuring an integrated view of the customer using external and internal data, i.e. working in tandem with Product and Customer Care

  • Identify/highlight pain points in the customer journey using internal data and through external research, providing clear actionable solutions


About you...



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required from a top tier university

  • 3+ years of advanced research experience within professional services firms, academia, government or equivalent

  • Proven experience in leading both quantitative and qualitative research independently from scoping to fielding to project management to insights analysis

  • Proven research and database capabilities, with focus on food and or retail, preferably both

  • Sound business knowledge; highly developed understanding of research techniques and information sources/databases

  • Solid problem-solving orientation, ability to work in a fast-paced, team and customer-oriented environment, not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Excellent grasp of quantitative analysis tools, e.g. Excel

  • Superior written/verbal communication skills with the ability to tell a compelling and persuasive story from insights and analysis
