About the Role:
We are looking for an analytical problem-solver to develop strategic plans for select performance channels as we grow our business across Canada. You will support and drive marketing campaigns with actionable, relevant insights derived from rigorous quantitative research and analysis. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and obsessive about delivering measurable results.
What you’ll do:
- Develop strategies and plans for select marketing channels based on data and learnings from other markets and execute those plans across geographies;
- Manipulate large data sets and perform various types of analyses ie. descriptive, prescriptive, inferential, causal, exploratory, etc
- Adjust and optimize results of campaigns based on target KPIs;
- Investigate/explain marketing-related trends, multivariable analyses of causal relationships, and determine optimal marketing strategy (given business constraints)
- Design, build, and maintain tools and dashboards, working closely with our Global team
- Support on business development projects, new channel development, and ad hoc analyses across growth marketing team
- Improve marketing performance through automation or streamlining processes
Who you are:
- You’re a data junkie with advanced proficiency in Excel, love finding the details in facts and statistics, and putting it all together for an actionable plan
- You have intellectual curiosity: you always want to know the “why” and you go beyond the scope of a given assignment to get your answers
- You are motivated by challenging targets and are keen to tackle both the big projects and small tasks in order to grow the business
- An excellent communicator: you distill and communicate complex solutions to a non-technical audience
- You have strong project management and organizational skills
You are highlight interested in learning about or already have experience in:
- SQL-based databases and tools such as MySQL, SQL Workbench, and Tableau
- Java, R, and Python
- Google Sheets, MS Excel, and VBA
