We are hiring for a full-time, mid-level Full Stack Developer with cloud-hosted experience developing services along with the front end components that will be relying on them.

A successful candidate will have experience developing and supporting MEAN stack applications. You will know how to write clean, robust and performant code with a focus on simplicity, maintainability, and extensibility. You will have a knack for testing applications to ensure that they work as expected and negative testing to prove that they fail gracefully. You will have experience working with a team of talented engineers and the dynamics that come with it.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to design, develop and support scalable applications


• Ensure the stability and resilience of our applications focusing on production availability


• Work with your team to review, test and monitor applications


• Work with teams around Green Chef on projects that will grow the company


• Work with DevOps to ensure our applications work in the deployments pipeline

Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience developing, maintaining and extending non-trivial web applications on AWS


• Experience developing fault-tolerant, highly scalable services, and APIs


• Knowledge of data modeling and database performance on NoSQL/SQL

                 Experience with:

• AWS services (EC2/ECS, Route 53, Cloudwatch, etc.)


• Docker and containerization


• RESTful APIs


• AMQP


• MEAN/MERN stack


• Modern Web Platforms (React/Vue/Angular)
