Job Description

We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f) to join our Finance team in our headquarters in Berlin. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

• Be responsible for entities accounting (debitors, creditors, bank, provisions, etc.), including monthly closing per HGB (we have around 15 German entities)
• Perform weekly payments and cost reconciliations
• Balance intercompany accounts
• Submit quarterly VAT declarations
• Analyze receivables and follow-up on payments
• Prepare monthly cashflow reports
• Work on the year-end closing and finalize it with our internal and external tax consultant
• Support the Department of Finance with diverse tasks with a focus on accounting and finance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Preferably completed studies as a Steuerfachangestellter/-in, Bilanzbuchhalter/-in or comparable education
• Confidence in working with MS Excel. Ideally knowledge of DATEV
• Good structural skills with a strong problem solving mindset
• Hands-on mentality and solution-driven personality
• Ability to work independently, flexible with a positive attitude
• Fluent in written and spoken German and good knowledge of English
