Job Description:


Based in our Sydney Office and reporting to our HR Manager, 


You will…



  • Onboard and offboard employees and maintain employee data accuracy across multiple systems

  • End-to-end payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis for c300 members of staff across a variety of contract variations (perm, part-time, casual) and Modern Award types

  • Understand  superannuation calculations as well as have a sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Modern Awards  

  • Prepare final payment, workers compensation and other adhoc pay calculations

  • Analyse and validate time and attendance records, and produce reports for senior management which add value

  • Be the first point of contact for payroll queries

  • Ad-hoc engagement projects within the HR team

  • Partner with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders on a day to day basis


Mandatory requirements


You have…



  • Experience and knowledge of Modern Awards, preferably the General Retail Industry Award and the Storage Services and Wholesale Award

  • Experience in ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime (Kronos Workforce ready) is a plus

  • Experience of working with a business that hires casual / part time / full time permanent / contract employees

  • A good working knowledge of payroll and its complexities

  • A strong analytical background and proficient Excel skills
