By joining the digital marketing team, you will join Jumia’s engine of growth and be accountable for social media performance, digital advertising and CRM channels.


Your role is to find the most innovative ways to help us reach and retain the right customer. We are looking for executives who can develop a deep understanding of what attracts our customers, challenge our current tools and processes, motivate the team and offer the best marketing solutions. These positions offer the most growth to the pool of talent. We expect best performers to be the next wave of Channel Owners, CMOs & MDs across the group.


 


Areas of responsibility may include



  • Fully responsible for day to day Campaign Optimization based on Analysis of Campaign Performance, including Bid/Budget Management and Landing Page Analysis

  • Performance analysis – assist Head of Growth Marketing with knowledge in order to improve the performance of the campaigns

  • Contributing to continuous improvement by proactively assessing latest digital practices and methodology.

  • Plans, manages and executes Paid Search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management

  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance to venture goals.

  • Consistently look for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches that will contribute to Jumia’s success


 


Required Skills & Qualifications 



  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing field

  • Preferred experience in managing Adwords (SEM & GDN) and Facebook Ads 

  • Perfect English.

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
