Job Description:
As a Retention Analyst with HelloFresh, you will support the analytic needs of our Growth organization for HelloFresh US. You will play a pivotal role in helping us continue to succeed as the leading global meal kit provider. The Retention Analyst will solve challenging problems using customer and business data to provide detailed and actionable insight, along with professional-grade dashboarding and reporting for some of our most critical initiatives.
Embedded in the NYC Tech Hub, we are building a cross-functional team of data scientists, analysts and engineers with the mission to bring the modeling and analytical capabilities of our marketing organization to the next level.

- Analyze effectiveness of CRM marketing campaigns and retention programs across both online and offline channels – providing actionable insight and data-led optimization
- Develop and enhance segmentation and targeting to maximize customer lifetime value through CRM retention activities
- Design, conduct and evaluate experiments to steer the business on CRM retention marketing, new and enhanced retention products, and business partnerships
- Develop an in depth understanding of the customer journey and churn behaviors, exploring large datasets to implement strategies that maximize customer retention
- Apply advanced analytical techniques and a deep knowledge to support retention team with insight and recommendations regarding changes in health of the customer base
- Support retention business development project needs with advanced analytical solutions, including forecasting and scenario analysis
- Develop new reporting framework and analysis methods using state of the art computing and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Python, Google Analytics…)

At a minimum, you have...
- A BS/MS in computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or equivalent analytical experience
- At least three (3) years of professional analytical experience. CRM or Marketing analytics is a plus
- Strong SQL, and experience developing reporting in a BI platform (e.g. Tableau). Analytical usage of Python is a plus
- A solid understanding of math and statistics; Including understanding of theory and practical application of experimentation
