YOUR TASKS

After a business win you are responsible for the tendering of the transport to selected carriers, including everything from the preparation of qualified tender documents with a focus on overland transports, the selection of transport partners and price negotiations to the conclusion of contracts with future transport partners

You negotiate fair freight rates with our carriers based on prescribed customer prices in order to build sustainable business relationships and to achieve good margins

During the whole process you are the contact partner for our carriers and act as the interface to our Key Account Management Team – After closure of the negotiations you are responsible for the implementation of the negotiated framework conditions and the transferof the execution to our disposition team

By incorporating your ideas, you support a continuous development of our product

REQUIREMENTS

You already had the opportunity to gain years of practical experience in the logistics or transportation industry, preferentially in the area of truck overland transports

In this context you also gained valuable experience in the procurement of freight and in the execution of all relevant tendering processes

Therefore, you possess a broad knowledge of freight rates and are able to realistically assess them in the market context

You possess a high affinity for the digitalization of processes in order to sustainably increase your, your team’s and the company’s general efficiency

You are goal-oriented and able to stay calm and focused even in a stressful environment

Your hands-on and can-do mentality helps you to solve problems in an efficient way

You are fluent in German and English (further languages are an advantage)
