Discover Restaurants with Discounts! DiscoEat changes the way restaurants are booked. DiscoEat is a VC funded technology-based restaurant discovery platform where users can book tables with discounts between 10% to 50%, every restaurant, every day. For restaurants, DiscoEat is a yield management tool. Every empty table costs a restaurant money due to high fixed costs. We help our partners to generate significantly higher revenues and profits by filling empty seats - mainly during off-peak hours.  


We are looking for a motivated and driven working Account Manager who loves to engage with our amazing partners and who wants to drive our business and the business of our partners further.


 


About the Role


The Account Manager at DiscoEat is an essential part of the team and is the main contact person for our restaurant partners. The Account Manager is responsible for the success of our partners and therefore DiscoEat. The Account Manager works closely together with the Sales Team and Operations Team in order to provide the best level of service for our partners. The Account Manager also acts as a consultant for the restaurant and will also prepare monthly data based reports to discuss measures with the restaurant on how to increase their revenue from month to month. Furthermore he overseas the onboarding process and trains our new partners on how to use the platform in the  most beneficial way.


 


Key Responsibilities


Onboarding of new Restaurant Partners




  • Build trusted relationships with our new restaurant partners




  • Be responsible for launch and onboarding procedures to ensure smooth operations for our partners




  • Give onboarding trainings to ensure best product utilization




  • Accompany and monitor the launch process to assist with troubleshooting




Existing Partner Support




  • Nurture relationships with our existing restaurant network for long-term success




  • Identify performance status and difficulties in review sessions to take corrective actions if needed




  • Advise restaurants on opportunities to improve performance (data driven)




  • Be the connection between restaurant partners and the inside team by communicating product status and customer feedback to management




 


Desired Experience Background




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree




  • Previous Experience in Account Management, Consulting or Project Management preferred




  • Restaurant Experience is a plus but not required




  • Start-up Experience is a plus but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English




  • Excellent project management and organizational skills




  • Strong problem-solving abilities




  • Effective interpersonal capabilities to establish client relationships
