Job Description

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Working Student (m/f) for our IT Infrastructure team at Rocket Internet. The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for our Network and internal IT infrastructure. As part of this team, you will be responsible for resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction. The IT Service Desk staff works in a dynamic environment which provides services in person, over the phone or email.

The following tasks will be part of your new role:

• Provide end‐user support and problem resolution for desktop computers, laptops/notebooks, printers and other peripheral hardware, and software applications.

• Maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems and application software used to provide a high level of support.

• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.

• Perform general preventive maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and other peripheral equipment.

• User account administration, i.e., account creation, management, and password reset on Active Directory.

Qualifications

• You are a matriculated student.

• You are an organizational talent and have a structured way of working, moreover, you are very reliable.

• You have confident German language skills as well as very good written and oral English skills.

• You are characterized by your friendly, positive nature and strong communication skills.

• You are a team player and enjoy interacting with different people.
