Job Description

As a Valuation Intern (m/f) you will be part of our Valuation team within the International Finance department at Rocket Internet in our Headquarter in Berlin. You will work in a dynamic and international team that offers great development opportunities within the network of Rocket Internet.
The following tasks will be part of your new role:

• Analysis of business plans
• Supporting in valuation of companies
• Actively participating in financial modeling (discounted cash flow, option price evaluation, waterfall models etc.)
• Contributing to the preparation of price purchase allocations
• Market research and competitive analysis
• Supporting in holding activities such as accounting and reporting

Qualifications

• Studying business with a focus on finance
• Ideally gained first experience in international accounting firm, corporate finance department or transaction advisory service team
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills as well as hands-on mentality
• You possess a dynamic work style and a high goal orientation
• The usage of relevant controlling instruments and common MS-Office programs, especially Excel, don’t pose a challenge to you
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus
