Job Description

As a Fund Controller (m/f/d) – you will be part of the team that supports the Rocket Internet Capital Partners
fund. The position is based in Berlin. With USD 1.0 billion commitments, the Rocket Internet Capital Partners
fund is the largest tech growth fund out of Europe to date. The fund invests on a global basis over the portfolio companies’ lifecycle. Our international team offers great development opportunities at Rocket Internet as well as within our network of companies. You will work interdisciplinary with colleagues from the internal investment and finance teams and with external service providers such as the fund’s administrator, AIFM, tax accountants, lawyers and auditors.

The following tasks will be part of your new role:

• Preparation of the quarterly reporting package for investors (in English language)
• Maintaining key portfolio data and legal library on all fund investments
• Supporting the investment approval process
• Reviewing in depth the work performed by the fund’s administrator/accountant
• Monitoring and reconciliation of cash flows, liaising with the administrator on payments
• Supporting the annual audit and tax preparation
• Preparing information of capital calls

Qualifications

You gained 2-4 years of working experience in finance / accounting / controlling / treasury or at an
accountancy / audit firm, ideally in one of the big four

• You earned a degree in business administration or a related field with a focus on finance / accounting / controlling
• You work highly detail oriented and strive to ensure the highest level of data quality
• You communicate well with stakeholders internally and external service providers
• You possess solid Excel skills to perform data analysis
• You are a native German speaker (or can communicate verbally and in writing like one) and have excellent English skills, our working language
