Ethos is a Greek word meaning “character” that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterise a community or ideology. The Greeks also used this word to refer to the power of music to influence emotions, behaviours and even morals.

Meraki [may-rah-kee] (v.) to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work.

Ethos and Meraki are at the core of why we do what we do. It is where our story begins.

We have always been intrigued by the concept of imagination and how it applies to technology. By human creativity and originality; our ability to discern patterns and weave information in a new digital world. By the innovators who are able to connect art with science, technology with humanities, and the entrepreneurs who understand how these worlds intersect.

At MentalityX we believe that innovation starts with people. We believe in vision and in action; in fostering a culture that not only innovates with the businesses of today but builds the businesses of tomorrow.

We believe that entrepreneurship resides where art and science connect, a crossroad between people and machines. A thought and act invoking intersection of the mind and the heart combining imagination and purpose with what we like to call "anthropocentric technology"; human-centric technology.
